1. Information We Collect

Information you provide. When you complete a form on the Site, we collect:

• Contact information, such as your name, email address, and phone number.
• Information about your potential claim, such as who uses social media, their age, the age when their social media use began, whether they are represented by an attorney, and how social media has harmed them. This may include information about health conditions of you or your minor child.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers collect:

• Your IP address, and approximate location (such as city, state, and zip code) derived from it.
• Device and browser information, such as browser type, operating system, and user agent.
• The pages you visit, referring URLs, and advertising identifiers or campaign parameters.
• A record of your form submission, including the date and time, the page you submitted from, and the consent language shown to you, to document your consent and prevent fraud.
• Information collected through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, including advertising pixels such as the Meta Pixel.

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Evaluate whether you may qualify for a potential claim and connect you with law firms and legal service providers.
• Contact you about your potential claim, as you consented to on our form.
• Document your consent and comply with legal obligations.
• Detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse.
• Operate, maintain, and improve the Site, and measure the performance of our advertising.

3. How We Share Information

• Marketing partners. We share the information you submit, including claim and health-related information, with our marketing partners, including law firms, legal service providers, and lead networks that connect consumers with law firms. They may contact you about your potential claim and will use your information under their own privacy policies.
• Service providers. We share information with vendors that help us operate the Site, such as hosting, form processing, lead routing, consent verification, and analytics providers.
• Advertising partners. Advertising platforms may collect information through pixels and cookies on the Site to measure and improve our ads.
• Legal and safety. We may disclose information to comply with law, respond to legal process, or protect the rights and safety of Lawsuit Help, our users, or others.
• Business transfers. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Sale and sharing of personal information. Providing your information to marketing partners in exchange for compensation, and allowing advertising platforms to collect information through pixels, may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under some state privacy laws. See Section 8 for how to opt out.

4. Children's Information

The Site is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 18. A parent or legal guardian may submit information about their minor child to seek help with a potential claim on the child's behalf. If you believe a child has submitted information to us directly, contact us at help@lawsuit-help.com and we will delete it.

5. Your Communication Choices

• Text messages: Reply STOP to opt out, or HELP for help.
• Phone calls: Ask the caller to place you on their do-not-call list, or email help@lawsuit-help.com.
• Email: Use the unsubscribe link in any email, or email help@lawsuit-help.com.

Opting out with us does not automatically opt you out of communications from marketing partners who already received your information. Please contact them directly as well.

6. Cookies and Tracking

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect how the Site works. Some browsers send "Do Not Track" signals; the Site does not currently respond to them. Where required by law, we honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a request to opt out of sale or sharing.

7. Data Retention and Security

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, including documenting consent and meeting legal obligations, and then delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Your State Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws), you may have the right to:

• Know or access the personal information we have collected about you.
• Correct inaccurate personal information.
• Delete your personal information.
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and of targeted advertising.
• Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information, such as health information.
• Appeal a decision we make about your request.

To exercise these rights, email help@lawsuit-help.com with the subject "Privacy Request" or use our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page. We will verify your request using information you provided to us. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Categories of information (California). In the past 12 months we have collected, and disclosed or sold to the marketing partners and service providers described above: identifiers (name, email, phone, IP address); internet activity; approximate geolocation; and sensitive personal information (health information you provide). We collect this information from you directly and automatically from your device.

9. Consumer Health Data

Confirm whether these apply to your traffic and add the required notice, or exclude those states from targeting.]

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page with a new effective date.
